From December 2nd to 5th, the first “The Belt and Road” China-Thailand Internet and Education Summit Forum was held in Bangkok, Thailand. On behalf of NENU, Zhang Xin, vice president of the School of Continuing Education attended the event.
At the forum, Zhang Xin delivered a keynote speech by the title of “Development of Teachers’ Continuing Education in the Era of AI”. He introduced the pioneering work of our university in the continuous education of teachers through modern distance education in the past 15 years, and exchanged ideas with the participants on issues such as using the Internet technology and information technology to further improve the quality of continuing education of teachers.
The summit forum was guided by the Ministry of Higher Education and Technology of Thailand and the MOOC China Alliance, and jointly sponsored by the International Knowledge Center for Engineering Sciences and Technology(IKCEST) under the Auspices of UNESCO, Xi’an Jiaotong University, the Thai Chinese-educated Alumni Association and Open Edutainment. More than 200 representatives from 66 Chinese and Thai universities such as Chulalongkorn University, Chiang Mai University, Nankai University, Jilin University participated in the forum.
