On December 18, the 2019 International Student Awards Ceremony and New Year's Party 2020 for NENU International Students hosted by the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of NENU was successfully held.
Wang Zhanren, vice president of NENU, attended the party and delivered a speech on behalf of NENU. Leaders, teachers and nearly 600 representatives of Chinese and foreign students from more than 10 colleges and units, such as the International Chinese Academy, the School of Arts, the School of History and Culture, and the International Academic Exchange Service Center, attended the party to welcome the coming of 2020. In his speech, Wang Zhanren affirmed the achievements of the international student work of NENU in 2019, and encouraged the students to make further efforts and make progress, and to be the emissary of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
At the award ceremony, 75 international students, including Xia Xuan, a Russian doctoral student from the Faculty of Education of NENU, were awarded the award certificates to commend their outstanding performances in study, scientific research and various cultural and sports activities in 2019 and set a learning example for all international students.
In the future, NENU will continue to implement the requirements of the Ministry of Education for improving the quality and efficiency of overseas education in China, further promote the connotative development of international student work, and help the internationalization and "double first-class" construction of NENU.
