Recently, Professor Zhu Guangshan and Associate Professor Tian Yuyang from the School of Chemistry of NENU published a review article entitled “Porous Aromatic Frameworks (PAFs)” in Chemical Reviews (IF=54.301), a renowned international journal of the American Chemical Society.
Porous aromatic frameworks (PAFs), a new type of porous material, is first proposed, defined, and successfully manufactured by Professor Zhu Guangshan. Based on the original research of PAFs of the research group in recent years and related research at home and abroad, this review charts the development trajectory of PAFs and elucidates the unique properties and advantages of PAFs compared to traditional porous materials. In this review, the design idea and synthesis method of PAFs are also introduced in details, and the new material synthesis idea that guides the material synthesis and application through directional design is deeply discussed. The first author of this review is Associate Professor Tian Yuyang from the School of Chemistry, and Professor Zhu Guangshan is the correspondence author.
