On May 31, the training of key teachers (principals) of primary and secondary schools in Tongyu County for fixed-point poverty alleviation in NENU was successfully completed. There are more than 700 key principals and key teachers in Tongyu County to participate in the training online, and the number of scattered online learning teachers reaches more than 3,000.
The training activities for key teachers (principals) of primary and secondary schools were organized and carried out by the Academic Affairs Office, the Ministry of Education (Teacher Development School), and the work office of the affiliated school. The school attaches great importance to this training work, closely combining the current hot issues of basic education and the actual situation of basic education in Tongyu County, and tailored training themes. The training content of the key principal training class includes school management, school training and the growth of famous teachers, the implementation of core literacy, the application of positive psychology, and school teaching and research work. The guest speakers are Professor Shi Ningzhong, Professor Liu Haimin, and Professor Gai Xiaosong of NENU, Liu Lijun, secretary of the party committee of middle school affiliated to NENU and principal of the Mingzhu campus, and Ren Guoquan, the principal of Shuxun Primary School. The training was hosted by Associate Professor Meng Fansheng and Associate Professor Liang Hongmei of the Department of Education.

The experts combine theory with practice and use cases to explain difficult problems with simple terms, which not only clarifies the teacher training goals, but also strengthens the school’s development direction.
