Recently, the Baicheng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government sent an appreciation letter to NENU, which spoke highly of the outstanding contribution made by NENU in poverty alleviation and expressed heartfelt thanks.
The letter said that Northeast Normal University actively responded to the call of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, with a high sense of political responsibility, a strong sense of historical mission, and dedicated efforts to help Baicheng City and Tongyu County fight poverty alleviation and do a lot of hard work, fully demonstrating patriotism and responsibilities of country’s “double first-class” universities; and also used four points of “will not forget” to review the work process and fruitful achievements of NENU in helping Tongyu County to overcome poverty, and praised NENU’s strong political responsibility, good work style, and also expressed their determination to win the battle against poverty.
