In this competition, the advertising major students of the School of Media Science (School of Journalism) won a total of 45 awards. In addition to a gold medal and a bronze medal, it also includes 16 outstanding awards, 25 finalist awards, and 3 corporate awards. The results have reached a record high. Two teachers, Zhang Shuyan and Han Liguo, respectively won the title of Excellent Instructor. The Gold Award for Copywriting and the Bronze Award for Planning are the highest awards that students have won in the above two categories since they first participated in the Academy Awards in 2007.
The Academy Awards of the China University Students Advertising Art Festival have two competitions a year (spring competition, autumn competition), covering academic seminars, creative competitions, entertainment selections and talent exchanges. Many advertising masters and industry leaders with rich practical experience joined and built a high-end platform that allows students to apply what they have learned to practice. Since the advertising major students participated in the awards for the first time in 2007, they have won hundreds of awards. Since the initiation and implementation of the "Integration of Competition and Learning" advertising teaching reform project in 2008, the Academy Award has provided a solid platform for the practice of the teaching model of "promoting learning through competition, promoting teaching through competition, and integrating learning and competition". Many award-winning works in this spring competition are based on the content of the courses taught by teachers.
