Recently, Professor Wang Yunlong, Executive Director of the International Education Legislation Research Center, the Educational Legislation Research Base of the Ministry of Education, was invited to participate in the symposium on the compilation of the Education Code held by the Legislative Affair Committee of the National People’s Congress.
Starting from the reality of law-based governance of education in China, Wang Yunlong studied and analyzed China’s current and related education laws and regulations. Informed by the mature codification model and legislative technical paradigm of the world’s first Education Code-“Education Code of the Republic of French” (full text was translation into Chinese by the International Education Legislation Research Center of NENU), and the “Administrative Litigation Code of the Republic of French” and the education laws and regulations of major countries in the world translated and published by the International Educational Legislation Research Center of NENU, Wang Yunlong, in the legislation context of education equality, made a framework proposal for the compilation of the education code with the goal of establishing a high-quality education system.
