On March 30th, in order to greet the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China and carry out in-depth study and education of the Party’s history, the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry invited Cheng Shuwei, professor of the Department of Marxism and a doctoral tutor of NENU, to give the first lecture on “Hundred Years’ History of the Party·Red Memory” Party classes of educational topics on the study of the Party’s history. The leadership team, party committee members, party branch secretary and party members of teachers and students of the School of Chemistry participated in the event.
With extensive knowledge, Cheng Shuwei used simple but profound words to explain to teachers and students how to understand the importance of Party history learning, and how to combine learning with Party history. He also used vivid historical facts and lively panoramic views to systematically sort out the 100-year history of the Communist Party of China, which showcases to teachers and students a century of struggle and great achievements of the Communist Party of China.
Through this lecture, the party members of teachers and students of the school gained further clarity on the history of the development of the Party in the past century, and the spiritual essence of “learning history to make men wise, learning history to increase confidence, learning history to advocate morality, and learning history to practice”. “Hundred Years’ History of the Party·Red Memory” Party classes of educational topics on the study of the Party’s history are an important carrier of Party history study and education in the School of Chemistry. In the future, party history experts and witnesses of NENU’s history and school history will be invited to give lectures on special party lessons from the dimensions of Party history, NENU’s history, and school history.
