From April 7th to 9th, the Teacher Education Research Institute of NENU organized the “National Training Program” the pilot project of the top teachers in primary and secondary school. Experts and teachers in the training base of NENU went to Lanping, one of the three regions and three autonomous prefecture in Yunnan Province, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture Bai and Pumi Autonomous County (hereinafter referred to as “Lanping County in Nujiang Prefecture”) carrying out activities to send teaching aids and training activities.
Participating in this education assistance activity are Professor Gao Hang, national teaching and educating model in NENU, Professor Zhou Jiancheng, expert of “National Training Program” of the Ministry of Education, and 7 top teachers and principals of primary and secondary schools. In two days, this assistance activity held 3 reports from experts in the base, 7 reports from pilot teachers, 3 demonstration lessons from famous teachers, and 6 research seminars, benefiting the First Complete Primary School, the Second Complete Primary School, the Third Complete Primary School, the First Middle School, the National Middle School, and the Jinding Central School in Lanping County, Nujiang Prefecture covering more than 300 teachers and students.
This assistance activity aimed to advance ideas and practice first. Through the “group of top teachers” assistance model, Lanping County in Nujiang Prefecture has changed its model from “blood-transfusing assistance” to “blood-making assistance” to promote the improvement of Lanping County’s own education. This assistance training activity further strengthened the close integration of education and teaching theory and practice, not only improving the leading role of pilot teachers in the region, but also reflecting NENU’s strength and responsibility of contributing to the improvement of the education quality in the three regions and three prefectures of China, the development of high-quality education, and a better and balanced education.
