From June 20th to 22nd, teachers and students from the Graduate School of Capital Normal University (CNU) and the College of Teacher Education came to NENU to carry out the visit and exchange activities of the Excellent Teacher Program. Activities centered on basic issues and practical exploration of the essential understanding, target positioning, professional construction and development planning of the growth of outstanding teachers.
During the event, the masters of education in the two universities carried out teaching and research activities of heterogeneous forms for the same subject, and conducted heated discussions on hot issues in education. Teacher representatives from the two schools exchanged experience and discussed the work of training outstanding teachers. The teachers and students of CNU also visited the middle school affiliated to NENU to see the school’s development philosophy and school-running characteristics, and the two sides had comprehensive exchanges on the measures of the new course. Present at this activity are Sun Wei, deputy dean of the Graduate School of NENU, Wang Qi, deputy dean of the Teacher Education Research Institute, representatives of the Academic Affairs Office and related college courses and teachers of teaching theory, and more than 30 full-time masters of education.
This visit and exchange activity has effectively promoted the exchanges and mutual learning between CNU and NENU, and has played a positive role in boosting the training of excellent teachers of the two universities for masters of education, broadening the students’ horizons, and enhancing the professional dialogue between the two schools.
