Recently, in the face of the complicated and severe situation of epidemic prevention and control, the School of Mathematics and Statistics has mobilized all staff to carry out all work in an orderly manner according to the overall arrangement of the NENU’s epidemic prevention and control work.
The Party committee of the school immediately formed a team of Party members composed of ten resident staff members. According to the division of responsibilities, and the student’s grades and the dormitories, Party member pioneer posts and activists’ pioneer posts were set up, and 20 student Party members’ responsibility areas were divided according to student dormitories to ensure that specific personnel are responsible for the promotion of various tasks. Since NENU has implemented fully closed-off management, the school has held a joint Party and government meeting every day to form a brief work report, and adjust the work plan in a timely manner according to the progress of the work and the dynamics of students’ thoughts, so as to implement precise policies in detail.
On the basis of all-weather and multi-channel solutions for students’ various problems, the school mobilized all teachers to participate in epidemic prevention and control in an orderly manner, and gave full play to the main role of graduate tutors, undergraduate thesis instructors, trainee tutors, and professional course teachers to educate students, and strengthen the ideological guidance, psychological counseling and care for students’ study and life. The “Letter from the School of Mathematics and Statistics to Parents of Students” was released to strengthen home-school coordination. Parents also expressed their willingness to work with the school to fight against the epidemic and protect students’ health.
Actively mobilize students to participate in joint prevention and control in a safe and orderly manner. Up to now, a total of 180 students have participated in the maintenance of the order when taking NAT, and guided the order of each floors, students who have not yet returned to school to participate in community epidemic prevention and control and other volunteer services, and comprehensively guided students to take the ideological and political open classes on epidemic prevention and control in practice.
