On February 20th, the training program for famous teachers and principals in primary and secondary schools in the new era (2022-2025, hereinafter referred to as the “double famous program”) was held in the National Academy of Education Administration. More than 400 people, including 300 famous teachers and principals, 20 training bases and relevant comrades from provincial education administrative departments, participated in the opening activities. On February 18th to 19th, Shi Yan, deputy director of the Principal Center, and Duan Lihua, vice president of the Teacher Education Research Institute of NENU, introduced the general situation of the training base respectively with the topics of “The Four-dimensional Integration of ‘Learning, Thinking, Feeling and Practicing’ asthe General Plan for Cultivating Famous Principals in the New Era” and“Interpretation of the Training Scheme ‘Double Famous Program’ of the Famous Teacher Training Base of Northeast Normal University”, and 300 famous teachers and principals exchanged and displayed their educational ideas and practices. Through the rigorous and thorough double-selection, the Principal Center decided to give training opportunities to 15 select famous principals from 11 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and the Teacher Education Research Institute of NENU decided to have 12 select famous teachers from 11 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in their training program. At the same time, Shao Zhihao, the principal of the High School Attached to NENU, was selected for the training program in the training base of the High School Principal Training Center of the Ministry of Education (East China Normal University). Wang Tingbo, the party secretary of the primary school attached to NENU, was selected for a famous teacher training program in the training base of Beijing Normal University. On February 20th, vice minister Wang Jiayi, accompanied by director Ren Youqun, visited the exhibition boards of various training bases before the start of the class, and Jiao Runkai and Duan Lihua introduced the training programs respectively.
The training base will take this class opening activity as the beginning of the three-year training work of the “double famous program”, create a whole-process, multi-dimensional and personalized training method for students, and contribute to the cultivation of great teachers who lead the high-quality development of basic education in a new era.
