On December 22nd, the opening ceremony of the "2023 Winter Cultural Exchange Camp Between Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao University Students" was held in NENU. Students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University, the Education University of Hong Kong, City University of Macau and University of Macau, as well as representative teachers, students and volunteers of NENU attended the opening ceremony. Zhang Jingping, director of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of NENU, delivered a speech, and student representatives from the seven Hong Kong and Macao universities made wonderful speeches.
This exchange camp will last for ten days in total, and the themes cover exploring the history of Northeast China and experiencing Northeast China's folk customs and ice and snow culture so that each student can further understand Jilin and Northeast China, broaden their cultural horizons, enrich their tour study experience, gain good memories and friendship while truly feeling the profoundness of the Chinese culture and the same cultural origin between the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao.
