On June 14th, the School of Computer Science and Information Technology launched the “NENU Library and Information Forum”, which will be held annually. At the forum, well-known scholars at home and abroad will be invited to give reports on the foresighted theory and the latest application technology in the field of Library and Information as an attempt to expand the vision of students’ professional field and strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation.
Dr. Camilla • Ai Laier, dean emeritus of University of New Mexico and Colorado State University, was invited to attend the first “NENU Library and Information Forum”. In the following week, she will give a series of academic reports. Due to her spectacular achievements, Dr. Camilla • Ai Laier was nominated by President Obama as a member of the United States Humanities Council in 2012.
