The first "Ecological Civilization and Green Development Forum for College Students" was held on April 20th. It was jointly hosted by the School of Environment and the Youth League Committee of NENU, and co-organized by 13 relevant schools. Professor Sheng Lianxi and Chen Peng delivered speeches respectively on the topic of "Ecological Civilization Construction and University Learning Career" and "Ecological Environment Protection Investment and Industrial Development in China". They emphasized the paradigm of modern life characterized by ecological ideas of thinking and behavior, and the ecological characteristics of the college students' learning career. They pointed out that only through multidisciplinary cross-integration can we jointly promote the construction of beautiful China.The forum focused on the core issues of ecological civilization and green development for college students, and advocated the organic integration of ecological civilization thoughts and young college students' education. It is a concrete measure to implement a series of top-level design, institutional arrangements and disposition and decision for the country to strengthen the construction of ecological civilization, implement the new concept of green development and promote the cultivation of new generation.
