Born in January, 1963, he is professor, doctoral supervisor, Vice-president and member of Standing Committee of CPC of NENU, selected member for One Hundred Scholar Program of Academy of Chinese Sciences and Excellent Personnel of Ministry of Education, excellent youth of Jilin Province, part-time professor in Graduate School of Academy of Chinese Sciences, member of Committee for Academic Degree, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics & Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of Standing Committee for Luminescence Major under Society of Chinese Physics, member of the Fibre and Integrated Optics Speciality Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, member of People's Political Consultative Conference of Jilin Province, council member of Jilin Provincial government, Deputy Chief Editor of Chinese Journal of Luminescence and Physic Experiment, member of editing committee of Journal of Synthetic Crystals, examiner of Chinese Physics Letters, Journal of Crystal Growth, Chemical Journal of Chinese University, and Chinese Optics Letters.
