Shi Ningzhong

Born in April, 1950, he is now President of the Northeast Normal University, Director of the Academic Committee of NENU, professor, doctoral supervisor, member of the Academic Degree Committee of State Council and the Appraisal Committee of State Natural Science Fund, Vice-president of China Education Society, member of Math and Science Department of 5th Science and Technology Committee of Ministry of Education, member of Leading Group for Probability and Statistics Educating under the Second Chinese University Math and Mechanics Committee, delegate to the 10th and the 11th National People's Congress, delegate to the 9th, the 10th and the 11th People's Congress of Jilin Province. He was awarded China Advanced Overseas Returned Personnel in 2003 and ¡°May Day¡± Labour Model Medal of Changchun in 2000 and 2002.

Shi Ningzhong is in charge of the general executive work of NENU, Finance Office, Schools Attached to NENU, NENU Press, School of Education Science, Department of History and Culture and National Basic Education Center.
