On November 11, a group of experts, headed by Xu Hui, the full-time vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League of China, was appointed by the Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education to conduct on-site inspection of the certification for normal majors in NENU. As the first normal university belonging to the Educational Department to carry out "the second level joint certification of normal majors", NENU will undergo a three-day on-site inspection of the joint certification of six majors of Ideological and political education, musicology, fine arts, educational technology, chemistry and geographical science.
On November 12th, NENU held a meeting of the certification for normal majors. All members of the expert group are Yang Xiaohui, secretary of the Party Committee of NENU, President Liu Yichun, Vice-President Guo Jianhua, Changqing, Wang Zhanren, Xu Haiyang, Standing Member of the Party Committee Gao Hang, Assistant President Yu Wei, Xue Lifeng, leaders of 19 relevant functional departments, as well as he presidents, secretaries of the Party Committee, deputy deans of teaching and professional directors of the six accredited majors of NENU, including the School of Politics and Law, the School of Music, the School of Fine Arts, the School of Information Science and Technology, the School of Chemistry and the School of Geographic Sciences, and the dean and deputy dean of other normal colleges attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Xu Hui, head of the expert group.
At the meeting, Liu Yichun welcomed and thanked the expert group for coming to NENU to carry out certification of normal majors, and introduced the participants of NENU. Xu Hui explained the purpose, tasks, ways and requirements of the certification work. He said that the expert group will strengthen communication with all departments of NENU in accordance with the new ideas, concepts, standards, methods and technology requirements of certification, so as to complete the certification work professionally, transparently and with high quality.
According to the work arrangement of the certification for majors in normal universities, the expert group will go deep into six majors, compare the certification standards, and comprehensively understand the teaching quality of six specialties according to professional evidence and expert verification methods.
