In order to meet the proposal of the Minstry of Education, the forum on the strategic development program of some key university, sponsered by China Agriculcure University,Beijing Science and Technology University and Shanghai Finance and Economics University, was held in Northeast Normal University.
The opening ceremong of the forum was held in the meeting-room of the office buiding on Aug.28th.
GaoWenbin, the dean of university office directly under Ministry of Education, the vice dean NiuYanbing and ChenWeijia, WangQinglu―the vice of dean of Education Department in Jilin province,YangTian jun, the president of Beijing Science and Technology University, TaoDexin, the vice president of Wuhan University of Technology, Huanglinfang, the vice president of Shanghai Fianace and Economics University ,the president and the vice presidents in our universities and fifty representatives coming from 33 universitis attended this opening ceremony.ZhangZhiguo, the vice president, presided over the opening ceremony. ShiNingzhong made the salutatory speech to all the representitives. GaoWenbing stressed the importance of the strategic development program to future development of universities which had been stressed many times by Zhouji in 2003 and analyzed difficulties in the development program in the light of the real situtations of some universities. The universities are encouraged to work out plans carefully ,design the future audaciously, work efficiently, speed up the pace of deveopment of universities and shorten the distance with the world top level universites. GaoWenbin’s speech is very practical as well as to the point. And his speech gives more ideas and definite aims to improve and amend the development program.
The closing ceremony was held in the meeting room of the office building on August 30th. ChenWei jia, the vice dean of the university office directly under Ministry of Education made a speech. She affirmed hard work and achievements in the work of programming the strategic development by all the universities and hoped that universites could improve their own pragrams and design blue prints for science deveopment in the new term.
After the meeting , representitives visited the JingYue campus.
