Cooperating with Harbin Normal University, NENU held an important meeting on January 6. It was held in the Meeting Hall on the 7th floor of the office building. The deans of studies from the normal universities which are directly under the Ministry of Education assembled, aiming at discussing the teaching reform and improvement of teaching quality.
The leaders, including Yuan Zhenguo, the vice president of the Department of Normal University under the Ministry of Education Yang Zhong, vice president of our university, were present at the opening ceremony. Six normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education, including Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University, and eight other local normal universities, represented by Nanjing Normal University and Huna Normal University sent their deans of studies to the conference respectively.
The conference lasted for two days. Centering on the topics of teaching reform and the improvement of teaching quality, the representatives delivered speeches, discussed and exchanged their experiences. Meanwhile, they deeply discussed The Guiding Advice On the Teaching Reform of Major Course (Edition For Soliciting Comments), and submitted constructive amendments.
