When the commemoration day of the 110th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s birth is coming, in order to review and cherish the memory of the great contributions made by the Chinese Communists, in order to promote the academic and theoretical research and quicken our steps of reform and development, the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, the College of Marxism and the Institute of Mao Zedong Thought together held the academic symposium for commemorating the 110th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s birth.The symposium was held on December 19, in the meeting room on the fifth floor of the office building. Sheng Lianxi, the secretary of the Party, leaders of our university, Professor Zheng Derong, the tutor of doctoral students and some of the experts and scholars who major in Mao Zedong Thought attended the symposium. Liu Haimin, vice-secretary of the Party presided over the symposium.
