NENU held a reward ceremony for nominated dissertations for 2005 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation (NEDD) and granted the foundation for NENU Excellent Doctoral Dissertation on the afternoon of November 4th, 2005. Shi Ningzhong, President of NENU, and Su Zhongmin, Dean of Graduate School of NENU, awarded the certification books and bonus to two writers nominated for the NEDD and their supervisors and issued the grand cards for the 29 doctoral students supported by the NENU foundation.
President Shi Ningzhong made a speech and showed his congratulations for the above writers, supervisors and students. He also posed some suggestions for improving the quality of graduates in NENU. Professor Su Zhongmin gave a brief introduction to the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation and the Foundation for NENU Excellent Doctoral Dissertation in his speech.
The two supervisors, Professor Chen Cai and Professor Jin Xizai, together with the two nominated writers, introduced their experience. Kang Zhenhui from School of Chemistry gave a talk on behalf of the doctoral students supported by the NENU foundation.
