National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC) covered the outstanding achievements of “higher plant hybrid and evolution”, made by the Plant Molecular Phenogenetics Laboratory with the lead of Professor Liu Bao, from School of Life Sciences, NENU. The report says, "with the joint support of 'National Science Fund for Outstanding Youth' and 'National Natural Science Fund',the Plant Molecular Phenogenetics Laboratory of NENU has made a series of achievements especially in the field of introgressive hybridization. The researchers of this field in NENU also have around 10 academic papers published in international authoritative journals, including Molecular Biology and Evolution , Genetics, Plant Molecular Biology, Theoretical and Applied Genetics, Genome."
