From November 27 to 30, Ma Yueche, professor of International Affairs from Postgraduate School, Oumeirin University, Honorary Professor of Nagoya University, and former Leader of Japan Comparative Education Society, came to NENU on invitation.
In view of Professor Ma's contribution to the study of comparative education and tertiary education in Asia, and his achievement in strengthening the academic exchange between China and Japan, especially the exchange with NENU, NENU engaged him as the honorable professor. Vice President Liu Yichun issued the contract of engagement on November 28th.
During the visit, Professor Ma gave two excellent academic lectures on November 28th and 29th, respectively. The subjects were Globalization and Reformation in Japanese Tertiary Education and Forty Years of Japanese Comparative Education. Besides, Professor Ma had an informal discussion on research methods in comparative study with teachers and students in NENU on November 29th.
