Homestay, the Spring Festival activity NENU held for students who were not able to celebrate the traditional festival with their families, caught the eye-balls of news media due to its positive effect and influence. It was reported by China National Radio, China Education Daily, Jilin TV, Jilin Daily, Jilin Education TV, Changchun TV, Xinhua Net, etc..
Sixty-three students, who failed to go home for the Chinese New Year, had a nice and unforgettable festival at the homes of their teachers or schoolmates. Thirty-two teachers and twenty-one students who live in areas of Northeast China invited those students respectively to celebrate the festival with their families.
