Another Three Yangtze River Scholars Appointed to NENU

The Ministry of Education recently published 2005's list of professors appointed as Specially Engaged and Lecture Professors of the Yangtze River Scholars Award Program. Three Yangtze River Scholars were appointed to NENU. Professor Ma Tonghui, from the School of Life Sciences, was appointed to NENU as a Specially Engaged Professor of Cellular Biology; Professor Liu Bao, from the School of Life Sciences, was appointed as a Specially Engaged Professor of Botany; and Professor Wang Yeqiao from the University of Rhode Island was appointed as a Lecture Professor in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. Currently NENU has a total of four Yangtze River Scholars including one Lecture Professor and three Specially Engaged Professors.
