On Feb.24, to commemorate the International Women's Day, the Work Union and Women's Association jointly held a "Contributive Model Women Forum", with the theme of "Celebrating Women's Day, Seeking Further Development and Making New Contributions". Party Committee Secretary Sheng Lianxi, Vice President Zhang Zhiguo, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee Zhao Ying, Chairman of Work Union Li Lixin, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department Li Jin and relevant members of the Personnel Department attended the meeting and gave their sincere greetings to the female employees of NENU.
At the meeting, Sheng Lianxi carefully debriefed the ideas and suggestions proposed by the participants. He gave very positive remarks regarding their industrious work and encouraged them to continue taking the lead in their work and contributing further to the establishment of a harmonious family and campus. In his speech Zhang Zhiguo expressed the hope that in addition to being committed to their work female employees should also take care of their health and continue improving the quality of their life.
On behalf of NENU, Zhao Ying addressed to all women employees, expressing her appreciation toward women's contributions to the school's teaching, research and management. At the same time, she encouraged female employees to reach for even higher achievements and play even more important roles in the "11th five-year" development plan.
