On March 6th, NENU faculty are organized to visit the "Exhibition on Meritorious Deeds of TAN Zhuqing", which is held in Changchun Municipal Library and hosted by Changchun Municipal Party Committee and People's Government of Changchun Municipality.
Tan, who had been worked for 48 years as the director and party secretary of Number 10 Community Committee of Dongzhan Street, Erdao District, Changchun during her lifetime, was known as "a prime minister in the lane" who were "responsible for the Party, the government and people in the district". To commemorate the model cadre and Party member, an activity on learning from her meritorious deeds was launched by the Central Committee and the relevant provincial and municipal departments.
The exhibition, which is put into eight categories, reproduces Tan's extraordinary life at an ordinary post vividly by means of pictures and writings.
