Journal of Northeast Normal University (Natural Science) , published by NENU's Academic Periodicals Press, is recognized as one of the Top Ten Excellent Scientific Periodicals of Jilin Province, according to the recently released results of the 7 th Provincial Periodicals Ranking (2003-2004) co-organized by Provincial Publicity Department and Provincial News and Press Bureau. In addition, three periodicals of NENU, Journal of Northeast Normal University (Philosophy and Social Sciences), Journal of Northeast Normal University (Natural Science) and Modern Primary and Secondary Education, were selected as first-level periodicals of Jilin Province.
The grading included 214 periodicals, of which 16 were chosen as provincial third-class periodicals, 125 as second-class and 73 first-class, from which 20 were awarded Double Top Ten Excellent Periodicals.
