According to the recently released appraisal result of "National Model Courses of the Year 2005", totally seven courses of Jilin Province have won the title, among which NENU has two courses selected. They are A Panorama of Education taught by Prof. Liu Haimin in School of Education Sciences, History of Ancient World taught by Zhou Gonggu in School of Hisory and Culture.
