On March 30, NENU's Men's and Women's Basketball Teams defeated the Northeast Forestry University and Beijing University of Science and Technology by 68:66 and 84:70 respectively, and thus won the first rounds of the northern conference in the eighth CUBA.
The northeastern conference of the eighth CUBA was undertaken by Shandong Agricultural University. According to the schedule, on March 31, NENU's Men's Team and Women's Team will challenge Beijing University of Science and Technology and Tsingdao University respectively.
