Recently, NENU signed a frame contract on building friendship between La Trobe University Australia and Northeast Normal University China. Based on the contract, the two universities will launch their cooperation on academic materials, publications, information, and the exchanges of teachers, staff and students.
With its main campus in the city of Melbourne, Australia and six more campuses in the northern part of Victoria, La Trobe University has five academic departments: Education, Health Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Administration, Science and Technology and Engineering. It ranks 23rd in the world in the field of arts and humanities, 68th in social sciences and 86th in the field of biology and biomedicine.
