The list of "the 2005 Plan of Supporting Outstanding Talents in the New Century" under the Ministry of Education was issued recently by the Technology Office, Ministry of Education. Five of the seven applicants from NENU are selected with a total financial aid of RMB 2,200, 000. So far, NENU has ten people chosen in the plan.
As an important part of "Plan for Talents of High Level and Creativity", the "Plan of Supporting Outstanding Talents in the New Century"is founded in order to strengthen the construction of college teams of young academic leaders, develop the creativeness of higher education institutions and promote the academic level and talents training of colleges and universities.
