On May 11th, the opening ceremony of the second senior training class for primary school principals from Zhongshan, Guangdong province was held in the multimedia room on the 7th floor of Tian Jiabing Academic Building in NENU. Zhang Guixin, Assistant President and dean of Long Distance & Continuing Education School, together with relevant personnel from the Bureau of Education of Zhongshan City, and responsible staff from Long Distance & Continuing Education School attended this ceremony.
Entrusted by the Bureau of Education of Zhongshan City, NENU holds this training classes, aiming at implementing a new round of Education Revitalization Action Plan. It is also to stimulate the development of the reform of basic education as well as to improve the comprehensive quality of primary school principals. During the 20 days of training, 47 primary school principals will attend lectures on theories and practices of education, reform of basic education and teaching methods, school management and culture construction. They will also visit six junior middle schools and primary schools in Changchun.
This is the second time for NENU to have such a training program with the Bureau of Zhongshan City since the first one in 2002.
