Representatives from HKIED Inspect NENU's Teacher-training Center

Published:May 19, 2006 Review:

Representatives from Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIED) came to NENU to inspect the ongoing work at NENU's Teacher-training Center. Zhang Zhiguo (NENU's Vice-president) hosted a meeting that was attended by personnel from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Basic Construction Office, and the Service Center for International Academic Exchanges. Vice-president Xue Kang treated the guests to dinner after the meeting.

After listening to the work report from the Service Center for International Academic Exchanges, the staff from HKIED thoroughly inspected the daily management and maintenance work of the Center's Building. They found the building's work log to be complete and accurate, the sanitary conditions well-maintained, the space efficiently utilized, and the management to be of a high standard.

Since Nov. 2003 when the Teachers' Training Center began operations, NENU has regularly exchanged teachers from HKIED and received HKIED's students for mandarin immersion classes. As a cooperative partner, representatives from HKIED conduct annual inspections of the Center's management and daily maintenance.
