On May 19th, a conference was held in the Changchun Hotel in order to honor some preeminent experts, excellent personnel and advanced human resources work units. Wang Rulin, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Changchun City Committee gave an important speech and Mayor Zhu Yejing presided the conference. Altogether 13 teachers from NENU were awarded, 9 of whom were honored as Preeminence Experts, 4 as Excellent Personnel, and NENU's Personnel Department was honored as an advanced work unit.
The award is in recognition of preeminent personnel and advanced units that have made great contributions to the economic and social development of Changchun. These outstanding examples encourage the dedicated spirit of enterprises, inspire others, and attract other talented people to build their careers in Changchun. 150 Preeminent Experts, 100 Excellent Personnel, and 50 Advanced Human Resources work units were honored. This is the forth time the city has bestowed this honor.
