NENU's conference on the Youth Fund Program of Humanities Social Science was convened in the multi-functional Hall of School of Politics and Law recently, with the attendance of vice president Xue Kang, Ma Shang, representatives from Office of Science and Technology and related schools as well as the young teachers who have obtained the sustentation fund in 2005 and 2006.
Since its foundation in 2001, the program has produced a passel of achievements in scientific research with 203 established items. Based on the current research in the program, nineteen young teachers, with 21 items in 2005, succeeded in applying for the State Social Science Foundation, National Education Planning Foundation, Humanities Social Science Foundation under the Ministry of Education and Social Science Foundation of Jilin Province.
