On June 3rd, the opening ceremony of Wenzhou class for NENU's Masters of Education was held in Wenzhou City. Sheng Lianxi, Secretary of Party Committee and Su Zhongmin, President of Graduate School left for Wenzhou and attended this ceremony. Lin Weiping, Director of the Wenzhou Education Bureau, Deputy Director Lin Weiping and Xu Liquan, and relevant responsible staff also presented. Deputy Director Xie Shuhua presided over the ceremony.
In the opening ceremony, Sheng Lianxi congratulated the postgraduates who had passed the entrance examination of NENU's Master of Education and briefly introduced the historical and recent development of NENU. He said that Wenzhou class symbolized an important step forward of the "Wenzhou Education Mode", which was jointly built by NENU and Wenzhou and this would surely contribute to the construction of NENU and economic and social development of Wenzhou. He also expressed that NENU would strengthen the cooperation with Wenzhou in the realm of Education. Lin Weiping appreciated NENU's support on primary education in Wenzhou and introduced the progress made in the education of the City.
After the ceremony, Sheng Lianxi and relevant staff had an informal discussion with NENU's graduates who worked on basic education in Wenzhou.
