On June 6th, "To Sing for Justice and to be an Excellent Son of the Time-----the National Speaking Tour of Heroic Story" gave lectures in the University History Lecture Hall of NENU. Relevant leaders from city and province administrations, Secretary of Party Committee Sheng Lianxi and Vice-president Liu Yichun attended the lecture. Sheng Lianxi addressed the welcome speech on behalf of NENU. More than 500 students from NENU listened to the impressive stories of 13 heroes.
This lecture is part of the nationwide speaking tour jointly organized by the Central Publicity Department, Central Management Office, PLA General Politics Department, Public Security Department, Education Department, Central Youth League, and Chinese Heroic Deeds Foundation.
After the lecture, Yu Shaolin, the head of the lecture group and Deputy Secretary of Chinese Heroic Deeds Foundation presented NENU a bronze vessel symbolizing heroic behaviors. Liu Yichun, on behalf of NENU, donated the foundation 20 thousand RMB.
