On June 26th, the opening ceremony of "the second advanced training class for principals from model junior middle schools in Shanxi province" was held in the School of Distance & Continuing Education. Zhang Guixin, Assistant President and dean of the School of Distance & Continuing Education, together with relevant personnel from the Educational Bureau of Shanxi Province, and staff from the School of Distance & Continuing Education attended the ceremony., NENU set up this training class, at the request of the Educational Bureau of Shanxi Province with the aim of comprehensively improving the quality of junior middle school principals and educational administration cadres as well as to stimulate the development of the reform of basic education.
The training will last a total of 108 hours spread out over 15 days. It will include lectures on issues such as educational theory and practice, curriculum reform in basic education and so on. After completing training, students will receive certificates from the Ministry of Education's Northeast Educational Administration Cadre Training Center.
