Organized by Education Department of Jilin Province and headed by the academician of Chinese Science Academy Chen Xingdan, an expert panel came to make an appraisement for NENU's two declared laboratories----Information engineering laboratory of Northeast Resource and Environment, and Laboratory of Educational Soft Project. Professor Xue Kang, vice-president of NENU, and Professor Zhou DaoWei, NENU's assistant president and Head of Office of Science and Technology, attended the appraisement conference as well as relevant personnel from the two laboratories.
The persons-in-charge from the two laboratories reported the construction of the laboratory respectively and answered the questions from experts.
The experts spoke highly of the construction of the two laboratories. In addition, they put forward their opinions and suggestions to the construction and future development of the laboratories. The result of the appraisement will be announced in coming days.
The Education Department of Jilin Province starts the appraisement for selecting key laboratories in Jilin's universities and colleges this year. The two laboratories of NENU are among the 25 laboratories of 13 universities which are qualified for the first evaluation.
