NENU Held the Preliminary Competition of the "First National Japanese Speech Contest" for Northeast Region

The preliminary competition of the First National Japanese Speech Contest for the Northeast Region was held in Museum of NENU's History on June 17th. The competition was sponsored by the Exchange Centre of China International Education, Japanese Economy News Agency and Association of Chinese Professors in Japan, and undertaken by Jilin Province Education Department as well as Northeastern Normal University.

Thirty-one Japanese major students from Northeast China took part in the competition. NENU students Li Songxue and He Huan, both from School of Foreign Languages, won the first prize and the third prize respectively. Li Songxue will go to Tokyo, Japan in July for the final contest on behalf of the northeast region.
