A report on the preparation work of NENU's 60th anniversary was held on the afternoon of August 23rd. NENU's leaders including Sheng Lianxi, Shi Ningzhong, Zhang Zhiguo, Liu Haimin, and Liu Yichun attended the meeting and reported the preparation work of the anniversary to the senior leaders. In addition, representatives from School Office, Office of the Alumni Association, and Office of the Anniversary attended the meeting.
President Shi Ningzhong presented the preparation work such as the time of celebration, the history of NENU, the revisal and compilation of the history of each school, as well as holding exhibitions on Lu Jiaxi and Feng Zhiyuan, and setting up eight statues for those who had made great contributions to NENU's development.
The senior leaders showed their appreciation to the preparation work and proposed some suggestions on the arrangement of the celebration, which were discussed by the leaders at the meeting.
