Recently, the national dance contest―the 8th "Taoli Cup" National Dance Competition, which was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, had come to its end in Beijing. Nenu's group dance Going into Town, which got first prize in exhibition and third prize in creation, took part in the performance of the closing evening.
Except for the group dance Going into Town, group dance Huayaohua took third prize in exhibition and third prize in creation; in addition, Jin Ni, Mu Riying and Zhang Dace won third prize and excellent awards respectively in the single fork dance. The thesis On the Development of Fork Dance, written by Professor Liu Lian of School of Music, won the third prize in theses contest.
The National Collegiate Dance Competition-"Taoli Cup", which took the title for "Chinese Dance Olympic", was the largest-scale collegiate dance competition and one of the authoritative matches in dance circles of China.
