The 43rd Track-and-field Sports Meeting of NENU was held on Sep. 30th.
The opening ceremony, beginning at 8 a.m., was attended by leaders from Jilin Province and Changchun City as well as NENU, and was hosted by Vice President Zhang Zhiguo.
Representative teams from 20 schools attended the meeting. After fierce competition, School of Education Science won the first of Group A together with School of Humanities and Sciences, while Grade 2005 of School of Physical Education won the first of Group B. Eight schools got the Spiritual Civilization Prize and eight schools were awarded the Arts and Performance Prize. In addition, there's one student breaking the long jump record of Jilin Province and one breaking the high jump record of NENU.
