On Oct. 19th, the Evaluation Team under Ministry of Education on Undergraduate Teaching of English Major held feedback meeting on English Major Evaluation work. President Shi Ningzhong, Vice-President Yang Zhong, and chief persons in charge of Student Affairs Department, Education Administration Department, Personnel Department, Finance Department, and School of Foreign Languages attended the meeting and attentively listened to the feedbacks from the experts of the Evaluation Team.
Leader of the Evaluation Team, Professor Shi Jian represented the Team appreciated the support from the school on the evaluation on undergraduate of English major and gave feedbacks on the four-day evaluation work. Considering the evaluation contents, Shi Jian confirmed the six achievements on undergraduate teaching of English major. The School of Foreign Language has a clear guide of running a school combined with the development aim of the school and a solitary and practical Party team which make substantial efforts to discipline planning. It does scientific research persistently, promotes prosperous development on scientific research, attaches importance to system building and guarantees the quality of the students trained in the school. With proper style of instruction and study, the department vigorously improves the condition of running a school and teaching reform. The experts'team also put forward their opinions and advice on the integral evaluation work.
Shi Ningzhong, on behalf of the school, expressed the gratitude to the experts for their hard work and valuable opinions, advice on the development of English major and said that the school would do a better regulation work next step following these opinions and suggestions.
