The Double Ninth Day on Sep. 9th of lunar calendar is a traditional festival in China to pay respect to senior citizens. On Oct. 30th, the Double Ninth Day, Secretary of Party Committee Sheng Lianxi, Vice-President Liu Yichun and persons concerned with School Office and Department of Retirement Affairs Administration visited and condoled Liu Guang, Kang Shaoyuan, Zhao Xixin, Chen Yunshan etc, senior colleagues retired from the school, and delivered wishes to them for the festival. They are over 80 years old on average among whom Chen Yunshan is 102 years old. They made prominent contributions to the development and construction of the school when working in the school and still care about the development of the school on their retirement. The leaders of the school particularly asked about their living conditions and wished them happy and healthy. The senior colleagues expressed their gratitude for the care from the leaders and were confident for the development of the school's future.
