On Oct. 28th, the signing ceremony of Co-Building of Education Development Community between College of Chinese Language and Literature and Changchun Jingyue Economic Development Area was held in Jingyue Economic Development Area.
Deputy Director-General Zhou Guotao of Changchun Education Bureau, persons in charge of Management Committee of Changchun Jingyue Economic Development Area and Social Development Bureau, Secretary of Party Committee Sheng Lianxi of the school, President Assistant and Director of Social Science Division Liu Jianjun, and persons in charge of the College of Chinese Language and Literature attended the signing ceremony. Professor Wang Que, Dean of the college and Deputy Director Lu Zhenxia of Management Committee of Changchun Jingyue Development Area representing the two parties signed on the agreement. Professor Liu Jianjun gave a talk at the meeting.
There are 30 schools of 9-year free compulsory education in Changchun Jingyue Economic Development Area, including 4 middle schools and 26 elementary schools. The total number of teachers in middle and elementary schools is more than 700 and students 8000. There is disparity between these schools and schools in the city centre on the location, facilities, teaching faculty and teaching quality.
The activity was initiated by the College of Chinese Language and Literature. It is an important act to fulfill the spirit of “Activity with Educational Theme of Party Member to Keep Progressiveness” from the Party Committee of the school for all the Party members and the Party Committee of the college. All the Party members of the College of Chinese Language and Literature participated in the activity in high spirit.
