On Oct. 31st, Revision Proseminar of Ministry of Education on "Regulations on Continuing Education for Primary and Middle School Teacher" was held in the school.
Director of Primary and Middle School Teacher Training Division of Education Ministry Normal Department, Tang Jingwei, President of NENU Shi Ningzhong, President Assistant and Dean of Distance and Continual Education College Zhang Guixin, persons in charge of education branch in Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangdong Province, persons from Anhui Education Institute, Teacher and Education College of Sichun Normal University, persons of Distance and Continual Education College, School of Education Science of the school, and Primary and Middle School Teacher Training attended the meeting.
Shi Ningzhong said in his address that the continuing education of teachers is an important matter. The current situation in China required the training for teachers and their ability to spread knowledge and ideas. If the continuing education of teachers wants to change the original system, it has to go deep into the subject, and combine the ideas of the subjects, education theory and psychology effectively.
Tang Jingwei pointed out that the aim of the meeting was to revise the "Regulation on Continuing Education for Primary and Middle School Teachers". NENU undertakes the task assigned by Ministry of Education who aims to ensure the healthy development of the work of teacher training, solve the current problems and set up a standard.
At the meeting, representatives put forward suggestions of revision on the regulation according to the situation of their providences.
