At present, the bidding and evaluation work of key projects of National Social Science Fund 2006 organized by Programming Office of National Philosophy and Social Science finished. After fierce competition on pro-evaluation, re-examination and defense, the project on "Research of Biological Complement System of Perfection of Subject Function Division" applied by Professor Ding Sibao, top expert of Northeast China Academy of the school, was approved with a project outlay of 500 million yuan.
The key project of National Social Science Fund is the national programming project of the highest rank. The Programming Office of National Philosophy and Social Science accepted 330 bidding projects of 37 bidding directions. After the final evaluation, 41 projects from more than 20 key scientific research units and key universities as Chinese Academy of Social Science, Beijing University, Qinghua University, Finance Ministry and Agriculture Ministry wan the bidding respectively with subsidy of 300, 400 and 500 million yuan. Beijing Normal University and NENU are the only universities that got approval within the national normal university system. The project of "Research of Biological Complement System of Perfection of Subject Function Division" of the school is the only key project of National Social Science Fund in Jilin Province this year. The approval of this project made a breakthrough of the school on the key projects of National Social Science Fund and indicated an improvement of ability of the teachers to answer and solve important problems in reality. This is another significant achievement of the school after the opening of Philosophy and Social Science work meeting.
